Those who instituted and brought to fruition The Trophia Butterfly Foundation in 2003 had a
dream and the vision to create an organization dedicated to restoring and preserving the
butterfly population in Key West and the adjacent fragile Florida Keys through habitat
rehabilitation, public education and community outreach. In order for this to become a
reality the lost canopy and flora that attracts butterflies must be constantly re-established.
The breathtaking natural habitat must be rebuilt. The Foundation is totally volunteer and
actively and enthusiastically involved in projects that fulfill the theme of the Foundation...
