Trophia Butterfly
"Restore the Magic"
is a Huge Success
|

|
|
|
|
Trophia Butterfly Foundation, celebrated
under the banner of "Restore the Magic,'
held on January 25th at the home of
Board Member Jimmy Olson and his
partner Keith Dempster. The event was
attended by over 175 supporters.
Attendees were treated to an exotic variety
of heavy hors d'oeuvres, created
by Andrew, the chef at Square One. There
were two open bars, one tended by the
inimitable Patrick Hayes, also of Square
One, the other by local favorite, Nancy
Renehan, and ably assisted by Board
Member's partners, Keith Dempster and
Neal Hartman, which kept our
revelers' spirits, literally, up high!
Entertainment throughout the evening was
provided courtesy of a trio of Key West's
finest, Carmen Rodriguez, Skipper
Kripitz, and Michael Thomas.
As a special treat, NYC cabaret star Scott
Coulter, who had been in town for an
event the previous evening at the
Tennessee Williams Theater, appeared and
sang a few selections, with Frank

The evening was capped off with a

Glamazons, a bawdy bevy of large-
sized beauties, who took a bodacious
bow for the butterflies!

At the gala, we were delighted to announce that eight individuals and couples were so magically helpful that
they have been dubbed “Wizards” of the Trophia Butterfly
Foundation. We can’t thank you enough for your generous extra donation!
